A few weeks ago I received a layer cake for my birthday! I have personally never purchased a layer cake before but I love the way you can get a whole fabric collection in one pack without breaking the bank. The fabric is called Ocean View by Paul Brent for Moda.
It is a beach themed fabric (if you couldn't tell by the name or pictures) that has prints of flip-flops, beach chairs, coral, stripes, and waves. I think the fabric will lend itself perfectly for a fun summer/beach quilt. Can't wait to show you what I do with it!

Wonderful bright summery colours too. This will be a fun one to work on. Looking forward to seeing what you choose to make with it. I've never bought a layer cake either.
