Let introduce you the newest pattern to my line - Star Light. It is a pattern based on the center star of my Milky Way Medallion quilt, but utilizes a striped fabric for a completely different look.
I quilted this quilt echoing the outside of the stars and used wavy lines on the borders. I would have loved to bind the quilt in the stripe as well, but I ran out of stripe so I had to settle for a solid black that matched the border.
The back I just had fun with and used some leftovers from the front along with some black and grey pieces from my stash. I had to buy a few pieces to finish it, but it was a great way to use up some remaining large pieces that I have sitting around.
The pattern contains 13 pages - including templates, fabric requirements and cover - of detailed step by step instructions with diagrams showing you how to make the quilt in 4 different sizes: kid, lap, twin, and queen. The pattern is made to be used with a striped fabric, but will still work with any fabric (although the stars might look a little more plain).
If you are interested in purchasing the pattern it is $8.00 and available in my Etsy Shop .
I am giving away a copy of the pattern to one lucky reader!
