Teal and Brown Brick Road Quilt

I always call this the brick road quilt because to me, the little rectangles remind me of bricks and the white reminds me of the mortar that holds them together.  This quilt was made from the left over rectangles of the teal and brown twin quilt I made.  You can read more about that quilt here.

The back of this quilt is actually one of the prints on the front with a small pit of piecing to add interest.  It is bound in a brown flourish fabric - the same fabric that was used for the backing of the other teal and brown quilt I mentioned earlier.

It is machine quilted diagonally across as well as vertically in white thread. The diagonal stands out more on the front because the vertical lines run on the seam lines.  The back, as you can see, shows both equally well.

This quilt is available for sale in my etsy shop found here

Love,

Elise Lea
