My first giveaway win! (Kind of..)

Custom Charm Pack by Svetlana of S.O.T.K Handmade

So a few weeks ago I entered a few of the giveaways from the sew mama sew great big giveaway day on December 9th.  Fast forward about a week and I get an e-mail from the lovely Svetlana @ S.O.T.K handmade saying I had been picked as the giveaway winner.  I was so excited to have finally won (having never won one before), and I sent her an e-mail back saying how happy I was. 

Shortly after sending that e-mail I went to check out her blog post on the winner and realized that it was not my name listed but someone else's.  I immediately e-mailed her again and explained that I wasn't sure if I had actually won or if there was just some sort of mix up but I told her I just wanted the prize to go to the actual winner, even if that wasn't me.

Svetlana got back to me quickly and explained that a mistake had been made - but she had originally been planning to give away 2 custom charm packs but decided to only do one at the last minute.  She kindly and graciously said she would send me the second one.

The kindness of quilters never ceases to amaze me and I hope you go check out Svetlana's blog - she has some beautiful quilts and great tutorials that are definitely worth taking a look at.
