Here is a little sneak peak at one of the things I have been working on lately.
When I was making my medallion pattern I needed to test the templates a few times to make sure they were the right size and that my directions were accurate. Instead of wasting a bunch of fabric I decided to make a lap sized quilt out of just stars, and I am loving the look.
All of the stars you see where made of one fabric, but each one is so different, and changing up the backgrounds really makes a difference. My husband calls this the Alice in Wonderland quilt, because the craziness of the stars remind him of that movie (the original Disney one to clarify). So for the name I am thinking something that goes along the lines of that movie - any suggestions?
I Hope to send this to one of my testers soon and have the pattern ready in the next couple weeks.
More soon!
Thanks for sharing your "thinking"....sometimes it's kinda inspiring to see how we create our quilts too!::) I sure do love the difference in backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteWOW. Three are stunning!! Can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteThese, not three...stupid auto correct.
DeleteThey certainly are bright and precisely pieced. I hope your plans go well.
